This Privacy Policy describes how the online store JB Hi-Fi (jbhifi.gr) collects and processes personal data, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Law 4624/2019.

1. Editor

The controller is the company that operates the JB Hi-Fi store. Full company details (name, VAT number, registered office) are included in the sales documents and are available upon request.

  • Identity and contact details (name, email, phone)
  • Shipping and billing address
  • Order, payment details (without full card number) and purchase history
  • Technical data (IP, cookies, browser, device)
  • Service messages you send us

We do not store full card details. Payments are processed by certified providers through Shopify checkout.

3. Purposes and legal basis

  • Execution of contract: order, payment, shipping, invoicing
  • Legal obligation: tax records, consumer guarantees
  • Legitimate interest: store security, fraud prevention, service improvement
  • Consent: newsletter / marketing cookies, where requested

4. Cookies

5. Notification to third parties

We share data only as necessary: Shopify (platform), courier companies, payment providers, accounting and competent authorities. We do not sell personal data.

6. Transfers outside the EU

Providers such as Shopify may process data outside the EU with appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses).

7. Retention time

Order details are kept for as long as tax law requires. Newsletter data is deleted after unsubscribing. Cookies according to the duration of each category.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent.

9. Security

The connection is made with SSL/TLS. Access to data is limited to staff and providers who need it.
