In 1974, John Barbuto — “JB” — opened a small, specialty shop in East Keilor, Victoria, Australia. His idea was simple: a serious range of Hi-Fi and music at Australia's lowest prices, from people who really knew the stuff.

This store has become one of the most beloved retailers in the country. The range grew from stereos and CDs to computers, tablets, TVs, cameras, speakers, home theater, games, movies and home appliances. In 1983 the business was sold; by 1999 nine more stores had opened. In July 2000 management, backed by investors, bought the company to expand the model across Australia. In October 2003 JB Hi-Fi was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. Today they operate over 200 stores in Australia and New Zealand — always with the same promise: always cheap prices.

And now, Greece

Fifty years after that first store in Melbourne, JB Hi-Fi arrived in Greece. jbhifi.gr is the Greek online store: the same brands, the same low price culture and a team that answers from here.

Greek customers find what the chain is famous for in Australia — wide range, low prices, substantial service — along with everything a Greek e-shop should have: prices in euros including VAT, official manufacturer's warranty for Greece and nationwide shipping.
